Welcome, protester, and greetings from the Tampa Police! We’re extremely glad you’re here protesting, for reasons that have everything to do with our shared love of the Constitution and free speech and absolutely nothing to do with our eagerness to try out the new rubber bullets.
Now, we can already hear you asking, “But how can I know how to protest safely and effectively, given how undereducated and lazy I probably am?” Glad you asked! Here are some simple tips: http://nyr.kr/NCmYoj
Week so far: 7.30am lesson cancelled at 6.45am same day; 1.00pm lesson today cancelled at 10.45pm last night; and, 9.30am lesson today cancelled at 8.30am.
Miffed? Moi?!?!?!? Well I haven’t broken my keyboard…..yet
In the attempt to feel human, I woke up early for my early lesson. 6am and it was almost dark. Not the inspiring start I was looking for and an unwanted reminder that winter is around the corner. Out the shower and just about to eat breakfast and student cancels. They’ve caught a cold and can’t come to the lesson and hope I read this in time. Taking vital seconds to reprogram my brain from “WTF!!” to “awww bless” I replied. And yes I was already back in bed in one of those angry, apathetic moods you get into and then get angry for being in a mood!
Far from life threatening and life changing start to the day; but nonetheless, I’m sure a puppy died somewhere.
